Position Available: Director of Construction
Location: Dallas, TX
The Director of Construction will lead all construction efforts for the company nationally. Duties include but not limited to:
- Budget Preparation.
- Lead the bid process for all design professionals, contractors, and vendors.
- Prepare scopes of work, direct billing process, reconcile and approve change orders, etc.
- Lead a team of Area Construction Managers/Engineers.
- Present at project meetings.
Company Info: Owner and investor of commercial and multifamily real estate. They currently own 100+ properties in 18 states valued at 1.5B.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience leading commercial construction efforts for a diverse portfolio of projects. Projects should range from TI work to multi-million dollar projects.
- Strong communication skills with both internal & external customers at all levels within the organization with excellent team leadership/management skills.
- Must have expert level experience Estimating projects.
- Must have strong budget/financial skills.
