Position: EVP or SVP

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Southern, CA)

Job Description:

The EVP or SVP is responsible for a large portfolio of affordable multifamily housing consisting of 150+ properties totaling over 15,000 units (EVP) OR 50+ properties totaling over 7,500 units (SVP).  This includes profit and loss, establishing standards, and ensuring quality. Reporting to the COO, directly supervises Vice Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents, and also works with the Vice Presidents of the various disciplines.  Additionally, will coordinate various project requirements with individual developers and clients.

Key Requirements: 

  •   3+ years’ experience in a VP/SVP/EVP role managing a portfolio of affordable housing – LIHTC, Section 8, Public Housing, HOME, RAD, etc.  Ideal candidate will have managed 8-10K+ units as well as regional team leaders.

  • Must be strong fiscally.  EVP should have in-depth experience with budget implementation/approvals, reforecasts, P&L, etc.

  • Must have strong communication and presentation skills.  They will be forward-facing with the clients.

  • Must have excellent team leadership skills.

  • CA Brokers License highly desired.
