Nick Nixon is a Senior Managing Director at Real8 Group, where he leads executive search engagements across the facilities, real estate, development, and construction sectors. He partners with organizations to identify and recruit senior leaders who can strengthen operations, lead complex teams, and drive long-term organizational growth.
Nick works closely with clients to understand their strategic priorities, operational challenges, and leadership needs. This collaborative approach allows him to identify candidates who not only bring the right technical experience, but who also align with the culture, pace, and long-term vision of the organization. His searches frequently focus on executive and senior leadership roles, including Presidents, Vice Presidents, and other key operational leaders.
Throughout his recruiting career, Nick has partnered with a wide range of organizations including higher education institutions, healthcare systems, commercial contractors, and corporate facilities organizations. He has developed particular expertise in facilities leadership searches and in helping organizations identify leaders capable of managing large, complex operations and multi-site portfolios.
Nick brings a thoughtful and analytical approach to search. Before entering executive recruiting, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and passed the Uniform Bar Exam in West Virginia. He previously served as a law clerk with Pittsburgh-based law firms, where he developed strong research, analytical, and communication skills that continue to support his work with clients and candidates.
