Position Available: VP/Director of Operations

Location: Dallas, TX

The VP/Director of Operations will lead fiscal accountability and performance, market development, and associate management for the Company’s growing, multifamily portfolio.  This role is responsible for the financial, administrative, and operations of the Company’s communities and ensure company standards and values are upheld and superior customer service is delivered.  The VP/Director of Operations directly supervises Regional Managers and Regional Maintenance Director and facilitates successful advancement of the portfolio and achievement of company objectives.

Company Info: Client is a well-capitalized, owner/manager of conventional, multifamily housing communities.  They currently manage 8,000 units and plan to grow to 25,000+ units over the next 3-5 years!

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Director/VP ideally overseeing 10,000+ Class A and B conventional/market-rate units.  MUST have the leadership abilities and expertise to scale their experience and lead a rapidly growing portfolio that will double in size over the next 3-4 years.
  • MUST have managed a team of Regional/District/Area Managers.  Strong leadership and collaboration skills, and the ability to develop, train, and motivate others; strong interpersonal skills.
  • MUST have strong business acumen, budgeting and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Entrata software and/or other Property Management and supplemental software solutions.
