Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Houston, TX
The Talent Management Specialist develops and fosters effective, long-term recruiting strategies and relationships that support Company’s recruiting expectations, corporate brand and values. TM Specialist is responsible for sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events to support both Corporate and Property staffing needs while delivering excellence in each stage of the talent acquisition process including promoting career opportunities, sourcing top candidates, screening, selecting and hiring. TM Specialist will contributes to the development of Group initiatives aimed at enhancing the talent in the business, including development collaboration with the People & Culture team to enhance attracting employees, employee retention, employee engagement, reward and recognition programs, the onboarding experience and more.
Progressive owner/manager of a diverse portfolio of student housing properties globally. They currently manage a growing portfolio consisting of 40K+ student housing beds. Minimum of 3 years of experience of successfully managing full-cycle recruiting
Demonstrated success in building a talent pipeline
Demonstrable success in developing and implementing initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention
Experience in creating training materials for self or others to deliver
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or 7+ years of equivalent training and experience
