SVP Operations – Central US

Position Available: SVP,  Operations

Location: Central United States

Our client is searching for a senior-level executive to run the operations of a growing self-storage firm. The company (which operates a sizeable portfolio currently) plans to nearly double in size over the next two to three years.  We are seeking someone who wants to be a leader in the industry and is at the forefront of new trends and ideas, especially as it relates to marketing and technology.

This position will likely require relocation to the Central US.

Company Info: Vertically integrated company with internal development, construction, and property management companies.  They plan to more than double their portfolio within the next three to five years.  Their mixed-use projects are rich in detail and originality.  They are involved in every facet of the community building process, from the initial site selection down to the qualify of finishing touches at each and every residence and building.   They consider each and every detail paramount.  They have developed over 13K units in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Key Requirements:

  • Not less than five years of multiple site, multiple state self-storage management experience

  • Must be able to travel (visit properties and attend industry events)

  • Must have an understanding of revenue management

  • Strong marketing skills especially as it relates to internet marketing and cutting edge trends

  • Must be technically savvy
